Yea Oregonians unite! It will be crazy when skeptical people try one of these out, but there are many people who cannot handle a trip and that is why these clinics will be great to coach them through the hardest struggles and for them to wake up their consciousness instead of just sitting by a camp fire and having a panic attack by yourself because you don't want to ruin your other friends trip lol Also heard they just fine grind the fruits and makes capsule easy to do there teks around for it or even just making chocolates is easy also

This is just a first step but can u imagine what happens once people start experiencing the truth in these clinics?
Yeah tbh I really believe in complete drug legalization as a principle and so was a little irritated at the restrictions in the measure at first. But then I realized that sooooo many people are just not cut out to be tripping on their own, and there would probably be all kinds of bad things happening if random people could just buy shrooms in a supermarket on a whim and take them the next day. I imagine that kind of chaos would be a major impediment towards proper legalization, whereas mandating such a controlled environment would really help to show people how safe psilocybin can be if it's understood and handled properly. And the knowledge that you'd be taking it under supervision in a licensed facility will undoubtedly help convince more hesitant experimenters to try it.
I'm also really thrilled about the fact that this measure will undoubtedly lead to a massive explosion in the real scientific research into psilocybin that we currently lack, when there is a framework in place for administering it legally without jumping through a million federal hoops.

The problem is a lack of education around the potential harms of psilocybin (psychological harms). Most people know not to drive in the opposite lane because they were educated about why that is dangerous, but take a person from a culture where cars don't exist and they put themselves at great risk by driving if you don't teach them the rules.
Legalizing psilocybin in a therapeutic context and decriminalization provides a learning atmosphere for our culture to become better educated before full legalization takes place.
