Political Compass Test

it assess your political beliefs and places you on a 4-way chart. Not perfect, obviously; I had issues with a few of the questions, but it clearly tries to be objective and has good comparisons.

Didnt we have this link as a sticky post for a while? anyway, i like it, its a good model i think. Clears up a lot of confusion created with out usual 2-dimensional model.

I think when we did it last time, not a single person was in the top half, and most were in the bottom left.

I think that test is bunk because it relies so much on binary absolutes.
most of my answers to the questions were "it depends on the situational circumstances"
but I dont think you could put that on a ballot

Exactly. And I'd like to know what exactly astrology has to do with political affiliation.

but she speaks at fundraisers and holds sway over public opinion
maybe 'politician' wasnt the right word. Maybe I should have said 'demagogue'.

Agreed, on many questions the way they are stated makes it hard to determine what they want to answer about. This probably pisses me off more than anything about most surveys.
