Here's an interview of a Dutch comedian by the TV news about Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan.
Our own politicians get the same treatment, and yes, no repercussions.

From this reply I can see that you do not understand the American concept of freedom of speech compared to Holland.
In America freedom of speech protects speech you don’t like, not speech you do.

Telling you the truth is not brainwashing. You grew up in a bastardized version that has elements of free speech but when it comes down to it, it’s not, and probably never will be.

Canada I wouldn't even consider a "free" country. Compared to other countries it is but the ability to be arrested because someones precious feelings are hurt does not make it chill. Socialized healthcare and other things about Canada to me don't make it chill, or free lol.

That was on the evening news and was without consequence. That would not be possible in the USA.

For real? You would rather shell out thousands for hospital visits? Our taxes may be higher but they go towards this gas like funding g for schools and healthcare and so on. If I broke my arm I dont pay a cent for the cast or anything because of our MSI. Makes sense to me. Or go in debt paying thousands for the same treatment because you may not have insurance. If you think USA or any country is free you are delusional.
Canada is a nice place to live for the most part. Not saying Canada is "free" but it's not a bad place to be imo

Aint no way in hell I'm paying for your fucking cast, or some 60 yr old fuck who smoked 4 packs a day. Or some dude who thought it would be funny to do a 720 backflip off a 10 foot bridge. I pay for me, u pay for yourself. Besides, the wait times are fucking disgusting in Canada, I'm not waiting 6 months when I am convinced I have cancer and will be dead in 3. Wait times are disgusting

I'd rather pay a collective tax than have to pay hundreds for a single docctor's visit. Also, wait times are not always bad. It can be a long wait time t see specialists but you deal with the same in the states too. It doesn't take 6 months to get cancer results wtf. My coworkers relative was diagnosed with cancer within 2 weeks of being screened. Hell my dad had his gallbladder removed because it was cancerous, had the results in less than a month. That was over a decade ago.
