ID help
    #27017810 - 11/02/20 04:26 PM (3 years, 3 months ago)

Hey

Been collecting some shrooms lately and came across the following growing out of a piece of decaying wood in a coastal field in the north west of England. Can anyone help me ID them, they do look a little like wet liberty caps but are a little bigger in general. Any help greatly appreciated.

Either Psathyrella or Coprinellus.

Welcome to the Shroomery.

Nice one thanks for the help, much appreciated. Just looked at some pics of Coprinellus and seems to fit the bill.

Just started hunting magic mushrooms again after a 10 year break. Only managing to find liberty caps in really high up places in north west england at the moment. Most my previously reliable lower farmland fields have nothing in at all. Still managed to get a couple of hundred so far though

I would think that the lower altitudes aren't far behind.
