Blue Staining Suillus, need confirmation

It's been incredibly sunny out here in the PNW, yesterday I went hiking and stumbled upon an abundant amount of the same mushroom. I took a few home and wanted to be sure they are safe for consumption. I believe perhaps they are Suillus caerulescens? Any suggestions?
They were growing in abundance by conifer trees on the soil. The cap is yellow turning to brown and quite slimy (even after cleansing in water and hydrogen peroxide), the stem shows some slight blue/green bruising after being cut but actually the stain subdues and disappears the next day. No spores collected successfully so far.
Thank you all in advance,

Question. If an edible mushroom is growing in proximity to a poison look a like mushroom or unidentified, is it unsafe for consumption?

Here is what it looks like with all the skin and gills peeled off:

It's important to Include close up shots of the stem before you slice it.

I wish I took better shots of the stems and pores:
The stems were initially yellow and turning brown with time. It stains blue when bruised but the blueing vanishes with time. The flesh is whit light-yellow.

Its whether the stem has glandular dots, net like appearance, scabbers, things like that are important when Identifying this type of mushroom, that is why I say it's important to include pictures before you cut it. I also think that it's a Suillus
