Psilocybe spp ID request

Found today in the West Country. I know enough to know that they are Psilocybes but I'm wondering which species they could be as they don't look like the typical cynanescens wavy caps. Found them growing in same spot last year, yet to 'test' though.

Habitat: Wood chips/mulch, landscaped garden beds.
Gills: Dark brown but become pale about 1mm from stem. Seem to be separate from stem.
Stem: 3-4cm maximum. Firm and fleshy.
Cap: 2.5cm max, pale beige to brown where wet.
Spore print color: Very important!
Bruising: Blue bruising on parts of cap, stem and where stem joins cap.

Were these bluer when you picked them, and fading, or did they bruise on handling and drying?

Your other post confirms my suspicions that they are Stropharia caerulea.

No, I don't think they were bluer when they were in the ground. The bruising was already noticeable on some of them when they were in the ground. Mind you it was dark and raining so I didn't spend much time studying them. I'm not sure the bruising has intensified too much since handling them.
What could they be if they had been bluer in the ground and faded to what you see in the photos?
Cheers

Wow, I take it back. I obviously don't know enough to know that they are Psilocybes. I knew I should have added a caveat to that.
I saw some Stropharia caerulea in the woods last week and they were a phenomenal shade of blue - I didn't recognise these mushrooms as them at all. I also didn't realise that Stropharia caerulea fades to that colour. Maybe why they were once called Psilocybe caerulea?
Thanks for your knowledge.

Stropharia isn't Psilocybe and isn't active, they were historically classified together. I'm still not dead certain. Were these caps a darker brown when fresh, or always beigey? Have any dried with whitish stems that have a silvery sheen?

They were dark brown when fresh (and wet from the rain). They have turned that beige colour after drying off a bit in my kitchen. That characteristic reminds me of P. semilanceata and P. subaeruginosa which I am familiar with. Hence my initial certainty that they were Psilocybes.
Yes, there is a silvery sheen on a few of them that I can see now.
I can also link you to the ID request thread I put up last year from mushrooms that I found in this exact spot https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/26267494. There are 3 TIs weighing in on that thread with their opinions but even they seemed to disagree on at least 1 of the specimens photographed.
Very keen to hear your opinion.

Those were cyans, I guess these are the same - sorry for the confusion. Cool.
