That was a fun survey. It was good for taking stock of my psychedelic experiences. Good luck with your research!

Hope the survey proves fruitful to your research. It was fun to think critically on my trips once again. Just taking the survey has made my day brighter due to the lasting positive effects of my psychedelic experiences. Cheers!

Thanks guys, very much appreciate your support!
I'm glad my survey made your day a little brighter @taku
We're getting some good numbers almost up to 200 people who have completed the survey so far.

Apologies for the slow reply. Results won't be out until mid may sometime. Although, I might put up some preliminary results before then. But once the thesis is written I'll make sure to put a link for anyone who wishes to have a read.

Yes I am probably going to starting sharing it on reddit in awhile. Just been busy with stuff so haven't had the energy to do that just yet.

Just thought I'd give everyone an update. I have just recently finished all the Interviews (still recruiting for people to complete the online survey). Have had a really good turn out overall with just under 350 people completing the online survey and 27 interviews completed (averaging about 2.5-3hrs each *phew*). I am now going to finish off transcribing all the interviews and get into data analysis. I will post some of the preliminary results over the next month or two. The whole thesis should be done by Mid may (hopefully) and i'll make sure everyone has full access to it if they wish.

Thank you for your research efforts. I think this type of research (where the focus is not exclusively about psychedelics for people with depression or addiction) is very important towards psychedelics becoming part of our societies again.

Just another update on the research. We've recruited 424 people for the online survey. All interviews (~75hours of content) have been transcribed (took about 2 months) and now we are beginning the thematic analysis of the interviews, which is likely to take another 2 months.
Thesis is most definitely not done yet (Originally thought would be done by mid-May) and won't be for awhile, but work is in progress.
I'll make another update post later when there's something interesting to report.
Thanks for all the support from the Shroomery and everyone who participated.

Hey to anyone who's reading. I"m just bumping the post and providing a short update. I'm planning on taking down the online survey soon (it's been up almost 8months). Very few people have been completing it over the last month or so and so I thought I'd do one last burst to drum up interest and then close the online survey; offically ending recruitment for the research project. Thanks to all those who have participated so far. Shroomery was extremely helpful with spreading the word and over 140 participants came directly from here (30% of all participants). If you have not completed the survey you're more than welcome to. You can also share it with friends etc if you feel motivated enough. Otherwise a huge thankyou to all those who have participated and to the shroomery crew. I will provide updates once we get deeper into the analysis and have some interesting findings to share.

it really depends i feel on what substance of choice is measured in small amounts and how often to gain ones exploration into the psychedelic realms mushrooms really got me thinking and feeling while lsd really got me going dmt was a curiosity that opened the doors to knowing i can do anything when smoking weed just made me lazy however did help me calm down in most experiences mushrooms are the real intense teacher compared to acid however those mushrooms always bring good things to happen
