These are dread"locks", they are double ended dreads braided in at the top and at the ends left loose....thank you :smile:

I liked my dreads all natural, but yours suit you, very much, from what I can tell!

And hell, my hair took over 6 months to dread up... on occasion wished I'd gone your route with the braided, tops, etc... !!!

I decided to cut them off for reasons based on my insecurities and always regretted it.  Even the salon I went to was like, "Are you SURE you want to cut these off? They are beautiful!"

They took all these before and after shots of me. The hairstyler was like, "Girl, we gotta make you a red!"  Oh, did I mention he was gay? So, that quote is best read with a lisp... heehee! :smirk:

the reason you dont get it is because you probably have never even heard of synthetic dreads and the huge underground culture of them. Its ok though, I definetly respect the natural ones too, these just suit me better cuz i cant commit.

oh i know about synthetic dreads ive seen them on ebay :lol:
but the ones i have seen are dreaded synthetic hair not braids.doesnt matter dread terminology can be confusing. whatever floats your boat :smile:

im not mad i was just kiddin, but yeah its half yarn and half synthetic dreads.....my whole head--my natural hair is in braids, then the dreads and yarned dreads are braided in my hair til my natural hair stops, then left loose, and there really long so the rest arent braided. :smile:

:thumbup: i dreaded my shit up nearly 1 month ago... did the whole backcombing fiasco, went around for a week or so with really poofy hair. now they are settling down, dreading at the roots and tips, and i can wash them a couple a times a week, which is a relief...

I really like your hair a lot. The braiding goes good with the synthetic dreads; although i perfer real ones since fake ones tend to look like electrical wire to me.

hwen ya sleep at night wear ya one of those stocking caps, it helps to keep evrything str8 and in order :grin: bout a year and you'll be str8 keep rolling em, and they do shrink so don't freak, also when ya wash em squezze the water out reel guud or they will rot from the inside "greene fungus yuck" and your right about em getting hot, just throw em up in a tam and you'll be alright, peace Gypsy

No not at all. Ive kept them in for like a month and they dont smel or anything. I can still take showers and get them wet, it just weighs them down so I just usually wash my scalp and thats it. I spray some perfume on them once in a while too  :smile:
