Looks like a Galerina species (toxic).

Curious what species of Galerina you think this might be and why? Galerina Marginata are smaller aren't they? Some of these are 6 inches across the cap. and G. Marginata has a brown spore print. These have a white spore print.

Whoops! I didnt look at your spore print info there. Doh!

Hmmm, Im not very familiar with brown mushrooms with white spores, but perhaps this site would help narrow down the genus for white-spored gilled mushrooms: http://www.nemf.org/mycology-resources/basic-key-to-gilled-mushrooms/

The only white-spored mushroom that I know of is the Death Angel  https://www.mushroom-appreciation.com/death-cap.html#sthash.pIDyo2Su.dpbs

The last 3 responses are good feedback. Thank you. A few of these are pretty big (although the one I put in the pics is one of the smallest ones) the biggest ones were six inches across - which doesn't fit anything. They taste decent - mushroomy - and smell good! I dehydrated about 10lbs of them and now they weigh almost nothing  - thought they might be BLGs but the white spore print doesn't add up. Probably toss em!

Thanks everyone! I'm satisfied with that answer and it seems 100% correct. What exact species is TBD but for now super excited about this site! This was my first thread and you folks are spectacular! Thanks so much!
