FFS the search is dickin me around. Trying to find a simple LC recipe for LME or Karo.. like it's just dozens and dozens of noob posts and bod telling you that you should know what you're doing and don't need a tek... I've wasted a god aweful amount of time looking into this.
Thinking 400ml distilled water, do I want to go with standard agar nutrient level of say like 8g lme and a 1/4tsp karo... leave the kara out... doesn't really matter? Why is LC teks such an enigma...

I had the *exact* same thing happen to my yesterday. I finally settled on a low sugar solution. I did 1g dry malt extract to 500ml water as per an old tek by tahoe.

This is what I use.

I use 3 pinches grinded between my fingers per 500ml and pc'd for 30 minutes.

You'll know when its ready when all of the setiment has been fully colonized and is no longer sitting on the bottom of the jar.

I’ll order some NY to try. I guess it’s much less nutes than I expected. I appreciate your quick responses, why I love you guys. Going to try a no mod approach in front the hood. I have a stirrer and bars on hand.

Half a gram of lme per 500ml water is more than enough nutes. Less lme means less hot break also which leads to less sediment

Lots of "blue pearls " forming in the remaining 5/6 of my cinctulus brf jars. Tried to color correct the shitty pic and just made it worse but you get the idea. Need to fix my laptop so I can interface with my DSLR again... Oof. Interesting how all these are producing sclerotia abundantly but the wbs jars barely are and the wbr jars aren't at all. Used the same LI for all of them so if it's just genetic roulette it seems to have elicited a fairly specific random result... Only thing I can think is that the size of coarsely ground rice is smaller than wbs, which is (mostly millet) smaller than wbr, etc, which puts everything in logical order... I'm sure they all will eventually, but worth noting. Looks like the Blue Pearls Explorer's Thread was closed so had to dump this here lol.

Just picked up a lightly used Dak 641-G-CD for $150.
Looks to be missing a lever on the ejector. Anyone know where I could find a replacement?

I would give this a go:
https://www.out-grow.com/all-american-sterilizer-65-control-valve
pretty sure it will fit or won't be too difficult to get it to work.
Good score!

Nice find! Looks like it's just as good quality as an All American! I didn't know this brand existed until your post.

Yup. There's a little info about it on the site...

One more question about the replacement valve... I just replace it with the new part 65 and I'll be good to go?

If it really is just rebranded AAs then you'll be good to go. Just upgraded both of mine... bit tricky dialing in but the quiet is soooo worth it.

By dialing in, you mean burner temp and pressure? Or installing new valve properly?
Thanks for the help, roar.

Yeah.. temp and pressure... the valve (and don't forget the blow out plug) took less than 5 minutes to install.

Ah word. I thought it looked very similar to an AA 941. I have those toggles on both my AA 921 and AA 75x. They're great, but you do need to fine tune your heat source before walking away.
