Any advice is much appreciated

Hi all, Living in an extremely dry climate I’m having to mist and fan constantly in addition to a reptile fogger connected to a humidity control switch. This is just to maintain an RH anywhere in the 90% range. All the cakes were 100% colonized With an extra week of incubation before birthing. I dunked for 24 hours, rolled in vermiculite and into the fruiting chamber they went. I am driving myself crazy constantly checking wanting to make sure I’m moving in the right direction to have a successful outcome. Ultimately hoping For some advice, opinions and simply some peace of mind based of my pics provided. Thanks to all!

Looks good. Have patience, they will grow. Don't overdue it and love your grow to death (literally).

Thanks! So you think they look ok for almost 14 days of fruiting?

It has been 14 days since you dunked, rolled, and placed into your SGFC? You should have at least seen pins by now. What are your temperatures at?

Yes 14 days since placing into chamber. The temp inside the chamber is bouncing between 70-76 degrees.

Making a much smaller sgfc would help. They’re designed to be packed full of cakes.
Check out shoeboxes they’re much easier with no fanning and very little misting. I have 10-15% rh and run them no problem no fogger or anything.

Follow This Tek and never have to worry about how dry your growing area is, this FC creates perfect environment all by itself, you won't even have to mist when you figure it out gl

Is it possible to use my existing cakes for shoebox? If I shred them and layer with my bulk substrate?

You could but for two weeks in the chamber they don’t look very active. Do you have pics of the jars before you birthed them?
If you do decide to go with a shoebox break them up really well and mix into coir. Some people put the cakes in a ziplock and mash them with a spoon or use a cheese grater.

Cakes are almost always slow to pin in a SGFC because the climate inside is almost always very far off from optimal fruiting conditions, I know this is the case cause I've seen countless cakes pin within 2-3days after full colonization if the environment is right. I don't believe in that 'lag phase' after full colonization that growers call 'consolidation times' personally I think it's just a phenomena growers observed fruiting cakes inside SGFC's, a whole week or two with seemingly no activity at all after full colonization. My belief is that if you're not noticing fruiting conditions/adaptations on the colony surface within days after full colonization then investigate your environment and you'll find the answer. If one of my cakes doesn't seem to do shit after two weeks inside the Water Tub then I'd definitely want to see pics of the substrates during colonization.
@Nsalha theoretically you could spawn your cakes whenever you wanted to, it's just that at this point you really don't want to stress the colony further by diluting the nutrients and making it spend energy colonizing for weeks AGAIN. You might end up with some fruits but IMO you'll have fruits weeks earlier, you'll have more fruits and with higher success rate if you just do something about the environment issue and fruit them as cakes (after a 12h dunk probably since they've been in the SGFC fora couple of weeks) . gl

I appreciate the help! What if I add more soaked perlite to decrease volume of the chamber? Wouldn’t that be similar to a smaller sgfc? My humidity and temperatures are extremely consistent it’s just taking a lot of work to keep them that way. Also I was mistaken about humidity in the room which is closer to 10%. I noticed some small white balls on some of the cakes today. Is that an indication of possible pins soon? Also I am very close to having my Martha two setup complete. Just waiting on my fogger in the mail. Could That help this grow in any way? I realize bulk substrate is ideal for that setup but jw. Here are a couple pics of jars before birthing and what I think to be knots.

Looks like you got pins to me. Maintain proper conditions and a little more time you might finally have some good activity.

yes! Extra perlite is a great way to increase humidity. I use about 6-8 inches of perlite. Works very well as it concentrates the humidity better. U dont need a fogger for SGFC, thats what the perlite is for.
Looking good so far, got a pin coming in

The FC that I linked to you already, the Water Tub operates based on the same principles as bulk substrates do in unmodified tubs if you're losing hope about cakes you've stumbled upon the correct link multiple times now trust me, there's a reason for that link lol

I added another two inches of soaked perlite to existing setup. I’m also gonna try the water tub with a couple of the cakes. I have a few different sized tubs, but I’m guessing the smaller the tub the easier it’ll be to maintain humidity? Especially being so extremely dry here in AK. Thanks again

I've grown with all kinds of tub size it doesn't really matter, and I have really dry air during winter time where I live and I've never had an issue with humidity, I don't think it's possible with the Water Tub, that's like having humidity issues with a bulk substrate it just doesn't happen.
