I hope I'm doing this right and this is seem.
CLEARLY ๐ I'm a First Timer but I would like to know if this appears to be contaminated? I already have trouble seeing and I have a second set of eyes helping HOWEVER I'm in need of some Pro advice because I've made it this far. I used Brown Rice mixed with Coco Coir and Vermiculite.
I've attached pictures with the flash on and off. Thank you!

looks good to me as well.
Brown rice, huh? Been seeing a lot of newbies start with that and have trouble but you seem to have a handle on it.
Have you considered more traditional grains like oats or rye berries? No reason to change things up if the rice works but I'm not sure how cost effective it is, or how good it will be for many or larger subs.

Thank you so much! I have gardening experience so this wasn't too far a stretch. This is my 2nd attempt with Brown Rice, about 4th attempt overall. The first time, of course, I used BRF โ it worked. . .I just really didn't care for it ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ. I've been experimenting with different grains. Using what I have around the house. Next up, popcorn.
Though, I have 2 other 32 oz jars colonizing (Brown Rice) but I'm noticing light condensation build up that wasn't present in my precious jars. Between the surface and top of the jar about 1in. I shake around the jars to rub it off to prevent contamination/mold. Is that normal, how concerned should I be? It getting plenty of FAE. Sits next to a fan too.

Thank goodness! Thank you! Should I case it? Is it really necessary, I've read mixed reviews.

I wouldnโt case it personally. Looks good.
Weโre these other jars inoculated at the same time as the first 2? The more the mycelium consolidates in your jars, the more condensation you will see.
