To spray or not to spray * 1
    #27011067 - 10/29/20 07:58 PM (3 years, 2 months ago)

This is my very first shoebox (or tub of any kind). This is about 4 days after spawning. I know I’m looking to keep the surface moist with tiny little water droplets (like really fine morning dew). I don’t have that right now. But as I said It’s only been 4 days, the surface hasn’t even fully colonized yet. At what point do I begin paying attention to my surface conditions and misting if needed?

Leave it alone. 4 days is nothing and if you properly prepared your substrate, there’s plenty of moisture in there.

Will do, thanks.

I was thinking that the surface would would develop water droplets over time like the jars. I didn’t want to end up in a situation where I wish I had asked. Being patient is a painful lesson I’m being taught by this hobby. But I’ve come this far, I can continue to practice being patient.
