Out for the morning walk with my dog when I happened upon a nice looking batch of mushrooms. To me, they look like Panaeolus cinctulus, but I saw other types of similar looking little brown mushrooms, so I want to be extra careful. Pointing me in the direction of how to identify the spores, or other ways to better identify these would be greatly appreciated!
Habitat: Bank of a rice field, popping out of a pile of mulched, decomposing rice stalks.
Gills: Light to dark brown gills
Stem: solid, not too thick, not too thin, some were curvy.
Cap: young ones brown with a nipple on them, older ones spread out. Younger ones tan/brown and tended to become whiter as they got bigger. Shriveled and darkened after they were picked, turning blackish aroudn the edge.
Spore print color: I don't know how to determine this, sorry I'm a newbie.
Bruising: dark brown/black?
Other information: The ones in the last two pictures had been picked and were lying on the ground drying for a couple days.

Checkout this site, don't worry about it being mostly North American species. This site will tell how to get started with identifying mushrooms, join mushroom groups and ask questions because we are all here to learn from one another. https://www.mushroomexpert.com/
A good clear shot of gills is always important, we can tell spore color and see other details necessary for identification with a good up close clear picture of the gills including where they meet the stipe (stem). Knowing spore color is helpful in figuring out what Genus they belong to, as well as Habitat, general location, substrate, nearby trees/bushes/shrubs, etc. The link I posted above will cover everything you need to get started, lots of reading is required and be aware that things are changing fast in the world of mycology, names are changing all the time it seems and Genus being split or deprecated. Best of luck
I would like to see a straight shot of the gills of your mushrooms, I may be able to figure it out, but they are not jumping out at me as something that I recognize.
