Hi all. Went for a walk earlier in a horse pasture and found some little guys growing in a bit of taller grass. Definitely looked like some older dung at the ground where all the grass was growing out from. Anyway things have been really wet here recently and getting these guys to spore print hasn’t been very conducive. I jumped the gun and checked one after a few hours and it looked actually a bit on the brown side.. which is where my confusion in their ID comes from. When I get one to print proper I will post up a picture for sure but I was wondering what everyone’s initial thoughts might be.. afaik there aren’t any look-a-likes to subbs. Are there? Also there hasn’t been any noticeable bruising. Any input is appreciated! Thanks!

Panaeolus sp. jet black black spore print would confirm cinctulus. They don't really exhibit blue bruising usually

My initial thought based on the brown color to the gills and brown print is panaeolus foenisecii

That’s kind of what I feared, I’m hoping for them to be some actives hah. I’ll wait and see for the spire prints then! Thankyou

Finally got some good spore prints, definitely brown not black! I’d say they’re foenisecii then. Crazy how similar they can look! Thank you guys for the help!
