Tiny mushroom sprouted from perlite in FC 1

This thin little mushroom sprouted up from the perlite in my fruiting chamber in a very short time, seemingly in half a day. It was already 1.5" tall by the time I noticed it and picked it. The cap was already open and flat when it grew, but I'm growing B+ which seems to start out with closed round caps. My question is, is this a little B+ that grew from a piece of mycelium that fell off one of my cakes? Does B+ sometimes grow with a flat cap? The stem still has that same shimmery wood grain look that my other B+ show.

Happened to me as well. It means the shroom gods are pleased. Eating it is good luck. Eat? Eat.

will eat! I had a cake fall over on the first day in the chamber as I was moving it, probably fell off then. The brown shit I guess is some grain and verm from my jar. The very top part of the cake had some dried out grains when I birthed it.

It looks like a cube just a weak one. Shots of the cap would help but i don’t see how it could be anything else since it’s just perlite. Some myc probably grew off the cake and foil into the rocks.
The ones I’ve had grow off bits of sub or grain that spill always look off.

idk, the spacing between the gills and the pure creaminess of the color lead me to believe it was a better comment to say "Don't eat it" than "Eat it".
I'm willing to look dumb if it means telling someone not to eat something weird.

Safe is always the better bet for sure, but if they did end up eating it, odds are it’s a cube.. the chance that another species colonized some open substrate in the perlite to grow that big of a fruit are pretty slim. No one should think you’re dumb for suggesting not to eat some unknown mush... no worries there.
Next time just squeeze the stem. Or just throw the damn thing away how hard up are ya to eat .05 of a gram? Lol

Thanks for the reponses!
A.K.A. thanks for posting that pic, that's about it exactly minus the veil.
Faht, it did turn blue but you're right, I'm not that hard up for what is probably .001 of a gram! Better to use caution.

I noticed when I didnt use a spacer between my cakes and the perlite of the chamber, I would see the mushrooms choose to pin/fruit thru the bottom of the perlite and pop-up like sprouts. Its pretty cool to watch, might make a great novelty project

Now that you say that about no spacer between the cakes and the perlite LC, I did lay a cake on its side because it was only pinning on the top and bottom, and it overhung the foil on both ends. That is crazy! No pinning, it just sprouted up through the perlite like it came from a seed? Definitely worth investigating further as it seemed to grow very fast. I am thoroughly enjoying this hobby. It seems there are endless ways to go about growing, so long as you have the basic conditions.
I started with three one pint cakes and have been experimenting endlessly. When I birthed the jars, little bits of grain with myc attached fell off, so I saved all of those bits and put them in a bowl with some casing mix I purchased. That bowl is almost colonized and I'm waiting for pins to appear now.
Of my three cakes, I only have one left. After no activity in the FC for almost a week, the other two were each crumbled into large bowls and mixed with the manure casing. One of those bowls is fully colonized and I'm waiting for pins. It's beautiful...it looks like fresh snow on a newly tilled field. The other bowl was a little slow, I think because I put too thick a layer of casing on top of the mix, so I dumped the bowl into a tub and added some more mix, then topped it with some vermiculite and covered it back up for a few days. Let's see what happens. I can't wait to enjoy the fruits of my labor!
