okay so no wonder eating my cacti caused no effect - taking the bullshit antipsychotic - it was personal choices i made not actual psychosis.
i just want to know how long until their effects wear off so i can get the full effects of instant-release serotonin tryptamine serotonin, its a personal choice i'll be alright been on shrooms before (no psychosis from that, happened years later).
im taking olanzapine 20 mg hs.
Quote:
Olanzapine binds with high affinity to the following receptors: serotonin 5HT2A/2C, 5HT6 (Ki=4, 11, and 5 nM, respectively), dopamine D1-4 (Ki=11-31 nM), histamine H1 (Ki=7 nM), and adrenergic α1 receptors (Ki=19 nM).
fluvoxamine 25 MG
Quote:
Besides being a SERT inhibitor, fluvoxamine is an agonist at sigma 1 receptors. The drug is approved in the US for the treatment of OCD but not depression Luvox (fluvoxamine) and Prozac (fluoxetine) are selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressants used to treat depression or obsessive-compulsive disorders. Luvox is also used to treat social anxiety disorder (social phobia)
and finally caplyta 42 MG (i've heard caplyta leaves the system within 48 hours.)
Quote:
Caplyta is an atypical antipsychotic and is thought to exert its effect through a combination of antagonist activity at central serotonin 5-HT2A receptors and postsynaptic antagonist activity at central dopamine D2 receptors.
no debate i dont live through a pill, its a personal choice i find they dont benefit my life it were only personal choices i've made.
i'm planning to go off and consume psilocybin after a month is that enough time to safely and effectively get the most out of the shrooms?

In my experience, quitting antipsychotics is extremely difficult. I tried quitting olanzapine and ended up in the hospital. Switched to risperidone, tried quitting that, was subsequently hospitalized again. Once more I tried this, this time tapering my dose down slowly. Once I went from 1/2 to 1/4 dose, I was hospitalized yet again, and they put me on injectables.
You say they don't benefit your life, but most psychoses come with a lack of insight into the condition. You're on twice the dose of olanzapine I was on, plus other drugs. I have a hard time believing that your doctor would prescribe those drugs at those dosages to someone who didn't need them.
Rather than trying to quit right away, I would first talk to your doctor about lowering your dose. If that goes well then you might have a chance...
If not, I would give up on tripping. If you try quitting cold-turkey, you'll almost certainly end up in the hospital, even if you don't have a preexisting psychosis. AP withdrawal is nasty.

No man, never introduce that shit to your system! Learn how to not use it and benefit from a bad trip!

i understand ap is nasty. been off one before my smoker lungs tasted like chipotle made me sick definitely felt ill to the point of vomiting.
the mushrooms I've had a bad trip before but after the plateau it felt almost wonderful iirc, i know how it feels. in fact initially it felt like a fear of a death of ego and then bad heart pressure felt like i'd die from my heart, i was not cautious with unmeasured handful and lemon tek tea ever still.
i thought I'd never try them again i did not want to feel that way. with age and cannabis and talking with family I've come to better terms with fear and peranoia i've had. i still remember the benefits of small to moderate dosage and with tolerance i can work my way up to full trip, perhaps. psychedelic healing. some people believe it can make a psychosis worse indeed it is not wise but I'll be alright. i vaguely remember the profound insights and visions.
imo it made me depressed after that my ego but I've come to better terms with it. I've come to look back on it positively.

Ego dissolution comes from higher doses. You just need to learn to let go or learn to enjoy the feeling of not being connected to your everyday reality.
Take smaller doses if it scared you.
as for any possible negative chemical reactions within your brain and the mushrooms and the antipsychotic you are taking, you should really ask a pharmacist about the interaction. The pharmacy you get your pills from would be able to answer you better. I specifically asked my pharmacist if I could mix the drugs I was getting with LSD. He told me that I could mix the antibiotic with LSD but he told me not to mix the Vicodin with the LSD. they know what they are talking about and would be able to answer you a lot better than us probably.
I think everybody reacts differently. I take Seroquel every night for bipolar type 2 and I still get a good damn trip. one time on a 200 microgram LSD trip that scared me because it was too strong, I took a Seroquel and it did not make me stop tripping. It only got rid of the negative aspects of the trip.
