New Grow

I just started a new grow last week and I already have some mycellium growth unfortunately it looks like the only growth i see is white with some red spots here and there i am afraid this is mold contamination. Should i remove these jars from my incubation chamber so i dont infect other jars they are covered with foil not tape so the holes are open and just covered the jars at the top with foil. Please any suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes remove, or isolate, the potential contamination.
Are you saying you have no filtration on your jars? No vermiculite, no micropore tape?

Yes i dont have micro pore tape I have just the kit i bought from midwest grow kits. I followed the directions exactly the directions said after inculcation just place the aluminum foil back on the jars and place them in the incubation chamber. I am guessing this is wrong. So i have vermiculite that was shipped with the kit. I believe they set it for the fruiting process.
Any suggestions you can give me I will follow. I really just want to be successful. I have 18 left.
I greatly appreciate your help. I don't want to fail. So far I have lost two to this.

No, you might be ok since you followed the kit directions. You said the lids have open holes so if that is the case, then bacteria can easily enter the jars. Photos of the jars/lids and contamination would be helpful. They might be fine. If the grow fails, then find a Tek and try again. Dont be discouraged.
As far as Mimosa Hostilis Root Bark, no idea. Doesn't seem to be illegal. Try Amazon. Gonna look into it myself now.

Well it looks like the two contaminated jars was a result of too much liquid spore. The rest of the cakes are coming along just fine. I have 12 left. They are looking healthy I will take and add the photos shortly. I am feeling much better. I just cant wait until I start fruiting. The directions say i need to keep them in incubation for 28 to 35 days. I have committed to the 19th of november that will be the day of birth. I really want to have some food asap. I am so excited. I just want to be successful and move on to a bigger and better grow. Thank u for your time I will keep updating my journal i started and put up photos. I am going to need help with the spore print and or making mycellium jar. Talk to you soon

You birth your jars after they are fully colonized, not when you feel like it after some arbitrary period of time.
I suggest you at least read the PF Tek and familiarize yourself with how to grow mushrooms before your lack of knowledge leads to a mistake that destroys your harvest.

I'm pretty sure he knows that, since he has the jars in an incubation chamber; hence conditions favorable to the growth of mycilium.

Wow... Somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Somebody pissed in your cornflakes. I find your response to be rather ill-mannered. You would not have written this had you read my exchange with the polite person whom I have had the pleasure to communicate with. Since you have proven that you do not thoroughly read, I respectfully withdraw my request for assistance. I don't think it suits you.

Your set up looks good, and congratulations on the pins! No recommendations on my end. Tried to get you a link, but my phone isn't cooperating. Just search easy agar tek and choose one. Another thing to look into is bulk grows, it makes the hobby worthwhile. Good luck with the agar.

OP. The tek included with that kit is kinda shitty.
- Do they suggest storing inoculated jars upside down? That cuts off air exchange. - Their fruiting chamber setup also doesn't allow for enough air exchange.
Read the updated PF Tek by Ziran it's pretty thorough https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/24179086
I could be wrong but I started with the same kit and had nothing but bad luck. After multiple emails back and forth with them I discovered Shroomery.

Yes they did suggest storing them upside down. Thanks for the update thats shitty. I itoo noticed the lack of air flow. I assumed that the air filter and flow provided helped but only with the humidity. I open every day and also place a fan to blow air through the handle and light hole. Also turn the lid side ways. Im glad i am learning this way Lessons along the way are expected. I definitely need to bulk grow and understand what is needed to succeed in that. I need a different set up.
