Heat experiment on stalled jars - triggered massive mycellium growth... or contams?

(sharpie marks were where the mycellim had grown to prior to the 48 hours heating. The big jar didn't even have growth on those sides, hence no sharpie marks. Its other two sides had mycellium patches about the size of a quarter. The two sides in the pic had 0 growth on the sides visible to the camera.)
I had about 5 jars that were growing healthy (non-contaminated) mycellium. They were growing at a decent, consistent speed - but then they stalled. Nothing changed in their environment, aside from the weather. They started in a hot room (80-85 degree temp), but when the weather turned cold (~60 degrees), it coincided with mycellium growth (or lack thereof.)
I tried an experiment creating a warmed colonization storage tank (not a true DIY incubator): (I've seen similar tek's about heating jars, but most comments say it doesn't work well or backfires - this post could show it does work)
- Household heating pad placed in a small plastic shoebox tote.
- It is flatened out to disperse surface area
- Metal rack suspended above the heating pad roughy 4 inches.
- Thermostat added on the rack, same place the jars would be.
- Placed 4 jars on the rack
- I used a sharpie to track the edge of mycellium growth, if it grew, and how much.
- Closed the plastic tote so its lid is clamped down so the top is sealed.
[I checked jar temperature and air temperature. and they were consistent; the ideal ~85F.]
TL:DR results: Growth exploded, seemingly healthy mycellim, heated colonization works!
Fast forward 48 hours and the growth has exploded. So much so that I wonder if I just ruined them all and got them contaminated. It's really fast growth for mycellium. I'm talking 10-25% (total mass) more colonization over two days in jars that had completely halted growth. The big jar grew massive bright white growths, with visible "root-like" tendrills stretching out, and it had no growth there prior to warming.
QUESTIONS
- Do pics look healthy?
- Will it get contaminated if it sits in a warm tote? (jars have Verm layer and micropore tape (two layers of 2 diff. tapes)
- Is it normal/abmormal for mycellium growth to explode after being heated?
- Is this just the part of the status quo? Aka, is this a tried and true tek? I usually only see comments claiming it doens't work or will ruin everything.
Ideally, this experiment could support the notion that heating during colonization is a proven option, despite the fact that it usually gets shut down once someone mentions it. Hopefully it can also serve as a method of breaking a stalled jar and getting it to grow again. Or worst case, I am just a moron who ruined all his jars on a stupid experiment (if all jars appear contaminated by the pros here.)
I feel optimistic though. It caused an explosion of mycellium growth in my big jar - it didn't even have visible growth on those sides, only little q-tip sized puffs.
Please give me some feedback and answers!

looks like healthy cube mycelium.
I think its true that higher temps will lead to both more rapid colonization and also more rapid contamination.

Thats a relief. The big jar has a slightly yellowish/beige hue in the middle of one of the white splotches. I don't know what it is, if its normal or contamination, but it otherwise appears healthy.
I didn't want to risk contams when I started these jars, but once the growth stalled I figured I'd give it a shot with warming. Glad I did now, it appears to be a viable option for kicking a stalled jar into gear.
