I get that on dissociatives, the corner of my eyes play tricks on me and the weird headspace along with having reality altered in shape/dimension with the light filtering through my eyelashes. Keep in mind it only looks like shadows of people walking.
I've never had that on shroom trips, though. Maybe it just activates a neural pathway with one that is responsible for constructing the images of people you see day to day?
That's just a guess of mine. Or perhaps you had a dissociative trip soon before/after a psychedelic trip, or maybe both (popular to combine nos with psychs)...that's what I would guess. I would try to change up the setting, do a trip in a different place on a lower dose, then go back to your normal trip spot/room or whatever, maybe rearrange some things?
It is a dark room, I imagine it is just your brain playing tricks on you with your peripheral vision. My best guess.

Yeah, same here. I put it like you’re sitting in the back of a movie theater with the screen being you field of vision and the people will walk in like ushers when the check the clipboard down front of the theater. I’ve called out to them but they never answer back. They’re like the opaque shape of a human but without distinct features.... sort of like a ghost with a clean outline.

transmission, nope, it's not a transmission. it's real phenomena, in mind, it's there for bona fide natural reasons: sensation memory and how resonant your mental state is (eg how many frames of now you are buffering and trailing).

The brain is hypothesized to be able to "calculate" in 11 dimensions.
It is pretty awe-inspiring how incredible the brain is
