i especially love how they knew the sign was incomplete, so then they very aggressively scribbled and heavily underlined "WE VOtE TRUmP".
you can tell theyre well educated judging by the inconsistency of upper-case and lower-case letters printed throughout. very sharp letters tho and that shows that they are "passionate"
sorry to double post.. aghhhhhh

If Iām going to comment on somebody elseās intelligence I always proofread before I post.
More often than naught I end up with a misspelling. It looks bad.

I do think a simple āNo Solicitationā sign would be preferable, but mainly because I want to convey that all fuck off equally.

To be fair, you have to be right up next to their door to see that. Maybe they had a problem with people leaving crap on their door or bugging them. It's mean and everything, but like, you'd have to be so close to read that that you're practically about to open the door or something.

The "context and spelling" didn't look right to me. Though i guess it makes logical sense as to the meaning behind the phrase, 'more often then never' would also, but I've just never heard enyone express the meaning that way either. I thought you were just being playful. How psily of me.
My bad or what.

The original phrase is "more often than not" with the word not being an adverb which modifies the preceding "more often than." This is grammatically correct in this self referential statement referring to the frequency of an event or activity which is regularly occurring. The phrase you used appears to have been created as a conjunction of "more often than not" and "all for naught" with the latter phrase meaning "all for nothing." However, like many other common phrases the corrupted form of "more often than naught" is now accepted but it does change the meaning to a degree. With naught being a noun meaning nothing, in this sense the phrase describes an action or activity happening more than nothing without reference to frequency, meaning it may happen only once or indeed many times. Thus the use of the word naught (a noun) in this instance loses the quality of regularity from the phrase and also negates the self referential quality of the statement.

Pretty sure the original phrase was āmore often than naughtā and āmore often than notā is a later simplified version.
But I canāt argue it. No evidence.

It is pretty funny that they used a near-empty pen to scribble this hate message. It makes it look like a pissed-off serial killer wrote it I wish the grammar/spelling was worst thou
