If you people spent as much time outside looking for mushrooms as you do arguing over the same things year after year. You'd probably realize there are way too many mushrooms out there and a HUGE majority of them rot away never seen by anyone.  Every year people say the same shit.

Its crazy to try and imagine that someone who doesn't follow the same shroom picking "etiquette" you do, somehow could possibly be the reason why you cant find shit.

Mushrooms are not a depliting resource. Not even close, not even a little bit, exactly the opposite is ture, especially in my town this year lol

Odds are that while you people are busy "Educating" people on shroomery, i'd bet theres fuck loads within like a mile of you somewhere rotting away turning into big maggot filled puddles of black goo. While you're busy on a computer explaining to some anonymous rando why THEY are the reason why all of YOUR patches are shitty

The stuntzii in my sig were in the parking lot of a big blue grocery store that I won't name. I bet like half of people who come out to the coast parked within spitting distance of these before they went out to the dunes. I still have a couple jars full left from that patch. Ill probably flush them down my toilet and post a video here.

Im done now sorry Not sorry if I pissed anyone off.

I've got a few tons a woodchips to start inoculating. (you can too theyre free by the dumptruck load)

LOL wise words. I feel that pull to blame my lack of success on bullshit, anything but myself.

Where do you get dump truck loads of chips for free?

Dry spell [Re: globejs]
    #27003762 - 10/25/20 10:20 PM (3 years, 3 months ago)

Yeah I was talking to a few of my friends about the dry spell. He camps at the coast during this time of year, but he's said there isn't a whole lot out there. There is rain in the forecast starting friday, so hopefully we start to see things change and get exciting. Just the wind here today has been awful for any sort of foraging. Even the parks I go to haven't had any sort of fungal activity, and that wind will sap any water that remained.

Hopefully things change. I hear this year is a chance for La Nina, which means cooler and wetter weather for us, like in 2017. A good resource I keep my eyes on is NOAA Climate Prediciton center

:laugh2:  Dude you obviously got pissed off about something. I have never discussed this topic before this season's thread, and have had my best pickin in years. Found some of the largest Baeo specimens I have ever found; however, I see no problem with educating ignorant people (noobs or otherwise) on proper mushroom "ediket" (I hope phonetics doesn't confuse anybody here) in the field. Actives actually don't grow "everywhere" and are rarer in some places than others. It's not a "waste" if they get a chance to complete their life cycle without getting picked; it's actually a "GOOD" thing. I have seen nice patches f-uped by fumbling morons pulling all the shrooms out by the mycelium because they wanted to "inoculate" their shit or "transplant" them. Hopefully they didn't flush them down the toilet after they f-uped the place. The only thing these clowns should be pullin on is their wire; and, if I have pissed any of these *#tards off, I would suggest the BooHoo! complaints desk.

Wait, what's fake and/or funny?

Just went back and saw your response. The fly looks photoshop’d on there like it’s not even making contact with the cap. That why I thought it was fake but if it’s real my bad. You must have a nuts setup to get such uncanny hyper real pics. :irishtoast:
