Who are the world's leading experts on Lions Mane? * 1
    #26999001 - 10/23/20 01:44 AM (3 years, 3 months ago)

Who are the world's leading mycologists to talk about Lions Mane? I got some unprecedented test results for my extracts, they seem to make a lot of enthusiasts angry and I would like to discuss this matter with proffesionals, ask some questions.

9% erinacines in the fruiting body? Any explanations?

Not sure how easy he is to consult with, but Paul Stamets comes to mind.

From what I've read 9% in fruiting bodies is unprecedented, I can understand why the enthusiasts you talk to would be skeptical. The studies I've read indicate that fruiting bodies are lacking in erinacines but should be higher in hericones. Mycelium alone under ideal conditions should produce 5mg erinacine A per gram of mycelium.

If you don't mind, could I ask you these following questions?

What lab did you send it to? What type of analytical test did they perform to detect the erinacines? What were your cultivation parameters/techniques? Where did you get your cultures from and how old were they? How are you quantifying 9%, how many grams does it take to achieve that 9%?

As for experts to contact, you could try to contact the publishers of similar research papers that are showing lack of erinacines in fruiting bodies, are showing high erinacines in mycelium and send them the results of your lab tests. Here is a starting point:

Thanks for the info, helps a lot!

I will answer to what I can right now. The rest will be published on our homepage on November 12th. The extract is heavily concentrated (20:1). Lab: RINP International, same that Oriveda uses, Analythical method: Megazyme

Will contact these people!

just curious, what would be an expected amount of erinacines in the fruiting body?
