First flush on a few monotubs went well. I'm just wondering when I should start rehydrating. Yes I used the search button. My question is: do i immediately starting rehydrating or let my sub recover for a day or two. I'm not going to be dunking I'm just going to be misting or poorirng and draining. Suggestions on that would be welcome as well. Thanks

I immediately mist and stick back on the shelf. It will soak the water up pretty quick so I'll keep misting every day until I see the 2nd pinset popping up.

After harvest mist above the tub and let the mist fall to the substrate. I never directly mist. In addition, some setups require far more misting than others. Ill give an example, ez dial tubs i can mist one time and have a killer 2nd flush. Micropore taped hole monos i have to mist a few days post flush. I only mist once daily in all instances. But your environment may play a factor in that. Example desert may require more misting. I find ez dials pretty much set and forget about doing anything else.
Rehydrating works either way. I dunk, mist or do whatever. The advantage of a dunk(1 hour float of sub or dunk) is that you dont have to do anything further misting after. Nor remember which tubs you have to mist. If you have a stack of tubs, that goes out the window real quick. I could argue several points and advantages for either and it really depends on your preference. Some people say they get more contams this way or that way. In my experience they both work great and i dont see anymore contams even with surface stumps or pins with a dunk or mist. Clean spawn and your fine.

Those wrinkly caps indicated you already used too much water.
Also ever seen mushrooms that didn't like rain? Yea you can absolutely directly mist mushrooms and substrates. Water is water it doesn't matter how it gets there as long as you're not pressure washing the thing
