A demon for me is pretty much as the legends tell, a parasitic entity that feasts and fattens upon negative energy growing stronger as the user himself crumbles, by bullying, or terrifying him/her and turning his deepest, darkest subconcious fears and weaknesses against him, not only to control the person but in order to actually exist in a way. Negative emotions are their sustenance and they will try to extract as many delicious nutrients as they possibly can.
Many (if not hyperspace itself) of the DMT entities work on this same pennywise principle, whereby if one manages to face them down his own power will grow as theirs diminishes (and vice versa). Psychotic delusions (that orginate as auditory hallucinations) work in the same manner and are much more dangerous than the entities one encounters within hyperspace.
So if this is an accepted definition of what a demon is, it must then surely follow that an angel would be the reverse of this? An entity of positive energy and love and kindness?
Personally though I think demons are angels and angels are demons again (and interestingly) just as the ancient legends imply! It is only by facing the demons that you can experience the angels, or even if initially you meet only angels IME they will test and turn on you sooner or later, because it is just what they do.
Whatever or not they are actually extant, they seem to seek out nourishment by pushing us to emotional extremes in either one direction or the other. This IMO is where the therapeutic benefits of the experience come into play, there is no heaven without hell, and no angel that is not in reality actually a demon.

Some people see angels on psychedelics. It has to do with your own preconceptions not anything that's actually real or even related to the drugs.
Lots of people who know angels are bullshit never see them on trips of any dose on any psychedelic. If it's what you believe in or are even slightly susceptible to then your probably will see them. Ask christians that trip. You'll meet significantly more people that have seen angels

Also TAS Visuals has the best "digital" style DMT/Aya or LSD visuals ever! Check him out. I think that where your captain hook visuals are from.

That's not what I was getting at myself, though I can't speak for others. I myself call them demons/angels not because of how they appear (Angel Gabriel these creatures aint!) or my having a religious background (I don't) but because of how they behave and how that behaviour so closely resembles the ancient legends.
They are not just demons/angels but hyperspace itself.
I may be speaking in metaphors describing mechanisms explainable by science or they may really be demons. I don't claim to know for sure either way to be honest.
It's easy to dismiss these creatures as mere hallucinations now but at the time nothing one has ever seen or experienced in his life could possibly explain or rationalize his own new found ability to suddenly imagine the unimaginable.
For me personally hyperspace confirms its validity by allowing you to gaze into something that is literally impossible knowing you will never be able to verbally explain or truly believe what you have experienced unless one day you return. Only then will it all be real again.
But as they are metaphysical entities that inhabit a metaphysical reality I don't think whether or not these entities are 'real' is really the point. They are obviously not real in the manner in which we normally determine things as real but I don't believe this rules out the possibility they exist in a manner we physical beings find almost impossible to comprehend.
As everything in the universe comes in two's, I for one find it quite plausible that just as there is a physical reality full of demonic/angelic humans, a metaphysical reality full of non-physical demons/angels also exists.
But absolute declarative's either way amount to the same thing IMO as nobody really knows. For all we know the physical reality we inhabit could be as equally false as the one we experience through substances such as DMT.

I’m not arguing with you. We seem to understand each other. I just rather reply to your post than to Bod’s.
When people see things on mushrooms in which they believe, it doesn’t mean that those things are not real. Neither does it prove they are real. But saying that it proves they are unreal is quite stupid.
If I believe that Jupiter has moons because people I consider reliable told me about them, and then I buy a telescope, and I see the moons, does it prove the moons of Jupiter are unreal?
It’s the same situation. They are equally stupid.
At the moment, I can’t physically visit Jupiter. I can’t land on its moons yet. (Working on it). Considering the possibility that a curved mirror and a curved piece of glass allows me to see the moons of Jupiter is the same as considering that a magic mushroom allows me to see aliens and angels.
In fact, now I can see and even touch some of the "unreal" things at any time with sober mind yet I still cannot see Jupiter’s moons without a telescope. So, which one is more real?

I found dozens of things I’ve had never heard about, thought about, imagined in any way before I saw them on my trips. After I saw them, I found them in Vedic literature, Hinduism, and even new age books.
I know what you mean mate. I myself find the DMT/mushroom realm to be synonymous with Buddhism and its teachings (surrender let go etc). Entering a Buddhist temple I was once struck by how the imagery and artwork so closely resembled the DMT/mushroom realm. Felt so familiar! Maybe I should look into what the Buddhists have to say about demons.

Or what they have to say about psychedelics. I think most buddhist and zen scholars have called psychedelics bad names

Thats very interesting. It is unfortunately true some assume that because an experience is obtained through psychedelics that it must therefore be invalidated. I can understand the tendency to think this (I still entertain this possibilty myself) but as it stands I feel have seen/felt more evidence that there is something else out there, than I have that the universe is spiritually empty.
Don't think it was a Hindu temple buddy, but now you say that as I am in China it may have been Daoist or something closely related. I think it was Buddhist though but agree that the imagery was similar to what one would see in a Hindu temple.
