It's time for another round of IS THIS CONTAM?
    #26997916 - 10/22/20 12:55 PM (3 years, 3 months ago)

I've already harvested one big boi off this cake because the veil had already separated and was waiting for the stragglers to finish up when I noticed this blue-green hue to the mycelium. I was wondering if this is contam or bruising?

My guess is contam. If it is contam, should I even harvest the remaining mushrooms, or should I just chuck?

I don't know if that's contamination or not. It might just be the mycelim bruising blue (I'm pretty sure it can do that).

In any case I definitely would take the mushrooms. As long as there is no mould on the actual fruits they'll be fine (and if there is, just cut off the mould. I do it with cheese all the time. lol. )

Wait for a more experienced cultivator to answer though. Even though I've been a member here for a very long time, I have very little experience with cultivation.

That's bruising.

If it was a contamination it will be probably penicillium, and if it is in fact penicillium i dont think it would be a problem..
But for me, looks just like bruising..

Definitely bruising, likely from not misting enough (too dry).
