What is up with this? Is that a cubensis?
    #26995018 - 10/20/20 05:24 PM (3 years, 3 months ago)

This is from a small shoebox swim is doing. Does the mushroom on the right look abnormal? These are 'ecuadorian cubensis.' This just looks strange to me. I am wondering if I should think anything else about it. My own knowledge tells me, yes it is a cubensis; however, it looks as bit odd doesn't it? Something told me to ask. I am wondering whether it could be something else, although I don't think it is possible for two mushrooms to be attached like that and be two entirely different species. Is this possible?
If the one on the right is indeed a cubensis... why does it look like that? Can anyone tell me? Obviously i havent checked it yet and I will post a picture after it bruises and I will see if it bruises blue. I'm just wondering why it looks different.

P. Cubensis for sure. It must have a lot of air passing over it or something like that. That happens when it's too dry. Give em a good rain and they'll reward you for it.

This is the bruising... does bruising really decrease potency?

I am picturing this dude just being totally enveloped in staring at the fruits of his labor for the past 2 hours. Take as many pictures as you want, good job.

Be proud!
