We are young
Heartache to heartache
We stand
No promises
No demands
Love is a battlefield

love and loving receive a lot of attention, as they should. it feels great to love, to give love, to share love, to want love.
one concept we dont hear talked about often enough is falling out of love. that is, in my opinion, complimentary to falling in love. life is a cycle.

love is a healthy cycle.
as the sun rises and we feel warmth.. as the sun sets and we feel cold.
such is the rule of nature.

To me love is a brain mechanic, which on a subject to subject basis could be explained and mapped out on a digram showing all the intricacies of the persons concept and experience of love for something or someone
Anything that can be quantified is just a byproduct of love :p

I don't know about that; all too often I hear people lament on the fact that they fell out of love with someone.
IMO, if you fall out of love, then it wasn't love that you were actually feeling; it was those brain chemicals, or whatever else it is that people above say 'tricks' us into irrational behaviour and subliminal sexual activity and procreation. I could try and explain in my own words, but this guy does it better:

You can kill them all, or numb them into dense, laden regret, but you can't kill love itself. Love is the passionate search for a truth other than your own; and once you feel it, honestly and completely, love is forever.
