First time agar plates

After some misadventures in making up some agar I finally managed to get a couple of petris on the go.
I inoculated them about ten days ago and something does indeed seem to be growing where I dragged the loop/spores. I'm pretty new at this so was wondering if anyone could enlighten me as to if this is normal looking growth on these two plates:
1st dish:

2nd dish:

Obviously there is contamination in both, but I made a couple of blank plates at the same time as these which haven't seen any growth. If I'm understanding right at some point I should be able to transfer growth over from the contaminated plates as long as I don't leave it too long??

Yeah, I dipped an inoculation loop in a couple of drops of spore solution from a syringe and swiped it across the plates.

Hey man! It seems like the spores were pretty dirty if the blank plates you made show no growth. I say you let them ride a couple more days to see how they progress. If you get some decent looking myc yes you will have to do transfers to clean the myc, maybe a couple of them until you have a clean plate. If you leave it too long you risk the little healthy myc that could be growing on your plate. As to what's on the plates right now it looks like all of it it's contam to my untrained eyes lol, but, I'm no expert here so, i'd wait for an experienced grower to chime in on that matter.

10 days? I'm not seeing any obvious myc there. There's white discoloration on both but they still look bad (they aren't the most in focus shots)...
The white/clear/yellow liquid is bacteria for sure.
Try and get some shots of: 12 o'clock in pic 1 2 o'clock in pic 2
I don't think these are good, but they may just be out of focus/my eyes suck.

I've seen zero growth of anything, growth of just bacteria, and healthy myc all from the same syringe before. You may just have to try again unless the syringe is so enormously dirty that it's not usable. The stuff growing from the plate edges would have me concerned because that's where contams usually sneak in.
