So I’m growing bored with the basic coir/verm substrate and I finally got ahold of a APE ms syringe.
I wanna have a more nutritious substrate for the little ones and I have looked for a bit online but it’s late. I’m used to Frank’s coir Tek and from what I am searching I can’t seem to find a definitive ratio of water/hpoo/coir/verm/gypsum
Frank’s was so easy with the one brick coir 2 quart verm 5 quart water thing.
I’m lost with the manure recipes. I like to pasturize in jars if that helps at all with where I need to go with this idea.. it’s late I’m super tired sorry for the repetitive stupidity lol.
Basically how the hell do I mix manure in the coir verm mix with the right water ratios. Thanks

Hpoo needs to be cut 50% with verm coir or straw. Cpoo even more IMO. Shred that shit good. Then hydrate to field capacity and pasteurize in jars. I like to do around 150F for 60-70 min.

Nice!! Ok I keep seeing field capacity and the only thing I have jacked with is the coir and I squeeze till one or two drops come out then if you really clamp down can get a little stream of water. Is this what I’m shooting for? I’m worried the hpoo will dry or stay wet longer being a different material so I’m just lookin for easy way to go about it.
Before i was way, way, way, to wet and was thinking that field capacity was a stream of water with a little squeeze of the hands. Still grew but damm was their some water in the bottom. One cake actually started to float an I was like hold up dumb dumb hahah.
Thanks for the help guys.
Also I follow some people on Instagram and holy shit are their APE insanely huge like hand to elbow huge. On here I just see small fruits mainly with low yields. Have you guys done better what’s the real potential of ape or am I just gonna get small fruits and flushes? What other variables do I need to adjust for. I’m used to growing cubes but the Allure the APE has me goofed for some reason like I can’t do basic math lmao. I’m thinking same process as ms syringe to grain, grain to agar, agar back to grain, g2g and then throw some shit on it but I could be wrong here

Hey, I have been growing APE, but I am wondering if they are indeed APE... Because they are HUGE and the yield is BIG... !
Any opinion ?
