my input is that all hygrometers suck ass, and u can tell just fine by lookin at the sides of yur terrarium heh... sorry im tired as fuck, night

That looks more than sufficent. Most average hygrometers will tilt when the RH is above 90%.

Again condensation on the walls is NOT and accurate sign of humidity, it happens during temperature differentials.

I use the radioshack thermo hygro it is +-4% at extreme ranges which gives you a pretty damn good indicator. Of course after a while you can tell without it, but at first its good to have something, otherwise its hard to tell. They have a good one at mycosupply or something that is analog and nist certified up to +-1 or 2% rh.... <drool> its 100 bucks though......

the name "accurate" sounds kind of hokey to me. The one I bought at walmart is an Accu-rite. sounds like they are trying to do a ripoff on the name-play.
