This weekend has been spent murdering cannabis plants and hanging their bodies out to dry. It was a fucking massacre.

No tek, and yea flushing now while the trichs reach proper color. Been fed all organic nutes, in organic soil since day 1. The smell is amazing when I hardly touch a bud.

Feeling pretty depressed. Colleagues calling in sick, another colleague whom I've spent an hour in the car with the past days leaving mid-day with a fever, meanwhile I'm expected to keep it all running while I didn't want to be there in the first place, getting a new extra hand tomorrow to teach the job I don't wanna do, and apparently I also gotta teach him to bid people a goodday cause that's why he's been scrapped from the other division of the company we're working for
Fucking bullshit rona. Can't even hold my son rn.
Drinking every day now. Taking krat pretty much at the same rate. Weed as always.
Might just dump some of the Bailey's I'm drinking in my coffee for work tomorrow. I don't wanna be there and they know. Then my colleague asks for other extra hands, and they deny him the extra hands, but keep me at that same place against my will. FUCK. THIS. SHIT.

I've decided I'm gonna do a 12-strain SOG this round. It'll be a Sativa oriented grow, with a lot of classics in there. I've got about 9 or 10 little plants and a couple other seeds coming in.
The strains on this rounds' list: -Laughing Buddha -Dr Grinspoon -Super Silver Haze -Super Lemon Haze -Panama Red -Red Hair Skunk -Acapulco Gold -Amajikoym -Neville's Haze (cutting from outdoors that's revegging rn) -Sweet Thai -Wild Rose -Durban Poison (if it's gonna germinate) (The Ultimate, if it won't)
First time doing a Sativa oriented grow.

I prefer to give my plants names that characters from 1940s movies would have. Ladies that say “hey, what’s the big idea, mister?” when they get pissed off.
This year we had Betty and Diana. iLean and Bertha not pictured.

Hey dudes I've been out of the game for a couple years but I'm finally getting my new basement outfitted. I'm working with BC Bud Chem Fire and GSC.
Hey Liz have you run that Dr grinspoon before? I've always wanted to see what that bead phenotype is all about.

No, I haven't, I've been meaning to ever since I bought the Tshirt with Dr Grinspoon on it, by now the shirt's print is so faded the "legalize" on the book he's reading is barely visible anymore and the old man himself kicked the bucket in the meantime as well, when I found out about that I decided it was high times for a grow.

Haha that's fantastic. I always wanted to try it and after he passed I looked into it again as well. The Pics on barney farm website are all wrong and I dont see the bead pheno mentioned anymore. I'm very curious to see your results.

It's a fun problem to have. My spot is slowly getting there 1 piece at a time. All said and done I'm stopping at 4 flowering lights. I'm very disappointed in BC Bud this time around. Dog shit germination rate and what looks like maybe 50% studs.

Croptober has been in full swing here for me lately....
I had a short 3 day window a couple weeks ago where I was able to get out and go camping way up in the Sierra for a few days while my closet was full of buds hanging to dry and my other plants continued to ripen up.
The timing of my plants finishing at different times worked out nicely because my closet was literally packed full after taking down my first plants...I strung up 6 lines of twine in my closet and each line had 10 to 12+ inch colas/branches hanging from wall to wall, around 40 to 50 feet of line at least
I'll be taking down a portion of my last plant tonight and then the rest of it a couple days later, the Wedding Cake .
I'm not even trimming my herb much this year at all and it's still taking a while to break everything down. I've been at it for 3 to 4 hours each day for the past 10 days and still have a chunk to go through. Once it's dry I break the buds off the branches and give them a quick "once over" trim with my fingers (I prefer using my fingers much more so than any scissors) and then into the jars they go. For the most part I'm keeping only the top 1/3rd to 1/2 of the colas/branches for my smoke, the rest will be going into bubble hash.
Everything has been looking pretty alright so far tho....Some of it is pretty dank . Only a few colas have had a few spots of caterpillar damage. And there's a tiny bit of rot in the center of some of the buds from the Granimals. I think two of my plants might have had a "dudding" disease of sorts but I'm not sure (buds are frosted but have almost no aroma/essence to them and the plants seemed a bit stunted)...Overall so far I'm happy with this years crop. It could have been better, no doubt the yield and quality was impacted by the mites and smoky days to an extent, but I'm very happy to have something to harvest at all and even impressed with some of the tops considering it all .
I'll give a full comprehensive ramble about my grow this year when everything is officially settled for the season (trimmed, jarred, & cured for a month or two...and after the hash has been made). I might even finally post some pics lol.
The plant I grew that came from a seed that I found in my Thin Mint buds last year, it turned out to be fuego! Probably the best plant I've ever grown, I wish I took a clone of it and wish I knew who the father/pollen source was but it produced some quality flower/resin and has nice potency & high. I'll give a long ramble about that plant specifically some other time lol.

All I have left is burp the jars and make something with the trim. Ended up with 19 ounces of bud and 1.5 of trim. I found one tiny bit of mold, or possibly a caterpillar cocoon on one bud. No other problems post harvest.

My samsquanch auto is looking droopy. I topped it, then removed a couple leaves a few days later, then moved it to another spot and opened the canopy by tying down 3 branches. New spot has a more powerful light. I think i might have overtrained her.. Hoping she will perk back up tonight..

Having outdoor and indoor plants and not respecting sanitary precautions when tending to them has come back to bite me in the ass. Yesterday I harvested a White Strawberry Skunk a couple days to a week early cause I caught 1 mildew spot and a caterpillar (I was like, wow, how the fuck did I bring a caterpillar in here? Must have had a small one or an egg hitch a ride on my hands or sleeves or something...), then today I caught a bunch of mildew spots on my Romulan as well. It had made it's way into one of the buds, and I had to cut out a bunch of leaves as well before starting the trim over the trimbin. Will be labeling and doing that batch separately so I can judge the hash that comes out accordingly... That is, if it doesn't start spreading.

well, that mold that started on a live strawberry cough plant, it spread right through half that harvest while drying. Just threw out about an ounce of fat buds. the trichome coverage is so dense you constantly mistake trichomes for mold while checking it. Had to get my trichome scope out to judge every single nug. Half were bad. Some painful shit.
