T. versicolor reday for fruiting ?
    #26993224 - 10/19/20 03:38 PM (3 years, 3 months ago)

I have spawned trametes versicolor grain to bags with sawdust prepared
after lipa's fuel pellet tek, They have been colonizing for ~10 days now
and it looks like primordia are forming.

Do you guys think it's time to cut the tops off the bags and do I have to
apply a casing or are they ready to go as is?

Any input appreciated

I would cut slits in the side, like now.  Top/side (full surface) fruiting those is a mess to harvest and you REALLY don't want a casing that's gonna be even worse!

Ideal: (holes or slits)

Not idea: (exposing the whole surface)

Have some medicinal mushrooms and want to get the most out of them?  Try this double extraction method.
