    #26991939 - 10/18/20 07:48 PM (3 years, 3 months ago)

In this COVID times it is very important to keep your body and nutrition healthy.
What are the 3 great food rich in Vit C and Zinc do you usually prepare for your kids and family to help boost immune system and fight against CVID? Any ideas?

The best thing you can do for your immune system is to eat a generally healthy diet and exercise.  Most supplements are marketing woo woo and even vitamins have been shown to be unnecessary if you just eat healthy with exceptions for specific use cases.

Hemp Hulls- loaded with Magnesium and other goodies
Flax- same... Fiber.

Remember, your gut health is directly related to your immune system. Basically the gut IS the immune system( sort of in an off way)

So.... Probiotics.

Cut down on sluggish stuff like red meat and pork and stick to whole, natural, organic if possible foods. MUSHROOMS! Shiitake mushrooms are a powerhouse of nutrition as well as Lions Mane. My local market sells both.... but I grow my own.

Basically as Mndfreeze said, eat healthy and exercise but adding in some key nutrients for the powerhouse hit...

take vitamin k3 with magnesium and zinc to allow them to absorb better. Niacin (vitamin b3) acts as a carrier for other nutrients.

Activated charcoal (so long as you do not take it too close to medications, nutritious meals). Take a vitamin C three hours after activated charcoal and be ready to take a dump of toxins

Stay hydrated as much as possible

Avoid the news, they're just going to keep telling you people are dying, which will ^ your anxiety, and that weakens your immune system

also get the blood pumping, aerobic exercise, even if its just a long walk, try to do that 3x a week at the very least.

Stay healthy

Ive read that really spicy foods high in capsaicin can boost your immune system. Obviously, giving your kids super spicy foods isnt ethical even during a pandemic

Oranges, berries, kiwi, pineapple, apples.

Green tea for cetachins, other teas like black and oolong are good also.
Blueberries have the highest antioxidant content of the berries, so eat a cup per day.

Potatoes WITH THE SKIN. The skin has all the zinc.

I take a zinc supplement that's pretty good. NaturesPlus zinc 10mg. I know it's good because I get rock hard erections that are harder than the wall every morning when I wake up when I'm taking it on a daily basis. I do get morning wood from time to time like normal but nothing like when I take zinc daily.I will go a few days without taking it because it is almost inconvenient waking up every morning with a fucking massive hard-on that needs to be jerked out. Zinc helps to produce testosterone.

Apart from eating real, actual foods, I supplement daily with a Vitamin C powder that's like 1/2 tsp for 1667% daily recommendation.
