Panaeolus Acuminatus maybe?
    #26990523 - 10/17/20 07:03 PM (3 years, 3 months ago)

Found these on same grassland that Ive found Pan Cinctulus / Subs on earlier in the year in Dublin Mountains.
Just wondering what people think they are ? The closest I can find seem to be Pan Acuminatus, but would welcome any input.

Gills:
Dark spores over light brown gills.

Stem:
Abut 4 inches long, thinner than Pan Subs probably 1 mm, mostly dark brown almost blue though, .

Cap:
1-2 cm , dark coloured , conical, fleshy.

Spore print color:  black.

Just wondering what you think they are?

Thanks for the reply. I presume these are safe to eat, since im certain people would pick these by mistake looking for liberty caps. Even though these are not active according to most places I read about them, I read they contain serotonin, so might be worth making them in some tea?

There are no toxic panaeolus as far as im aware, there are also no toxic black spored mushrooms though some can cause stomach upset.
