There's always a thread about bad neighboors in here. Here's a positive neighbour story. * 1
    #26990311 - 10/17/20 05:25 PM (4 days, 11 hours ago)

I've been living in my house for 12 years now and my neighbour was there when I bought the place.  Her house is connected to mine and there's a firewall between us.

In the twelve years I've been living she has never said a word to me.  The most she's ever done is wave her hand to say hello.  I have also never said a word to her in 12 years.  I don't even know her name.

I've never seen this level of respect.  Like I'm afraid to sell my house in fear that I may never have that kind of neighbour again.  If I ever move I want to bring her with me.

It's some next level shit.

We still never talk sometimes...

I've had good neighbors. Shared house keys with them and when we are away we text one another to pick up mail, bring in garbage bins and use each other's driveways as desired. Life is so much better when you have good neighbors that have your back.

The internet has made us weird. Not talking to your neighbor was serial killer behavior 20 years ago.

My neighbours are great as well. They have helped me out with stuff a few times, I've helped them with stuff as well. They feed my fish and dog and look out for my property while I'm away and stuff like that, and vice versa. One of my neighbours has a paddock and lets me forage there among his cows for mushies in the season, I didn't even ask, he offered. For the most part we all keep to ourselves, but it's good having people you can trust living around you.

I've had bad neighbours before, much prefer it like this.

Both of my neighbors are at least 500 yards from my house. We don't talk much, either.
