First Martha, dry substrate surface...
    #26990280 - 10/17/20 03:55 PM (3 years, 3 months ago)

Got my martha setup. Humidity is set to 99%, I have a circulation fan running every 30 minutes that pulls air from the outside.

Humidity seems good. Walls are not wet (which... makes sense but im used to my tubs with wet walls) however, the substrate surface never accumulates water so there's no evap happening...

The substrate isn't drying out either though, the walls of the sub are not pealing from the shoebox wall. That PES Amazonians in there that I feels should be forming knots by now... it's been in there 7days_+

Anyone out there running a Martha successfully that could provide some input?

Thanks yalls.

Nice carpet protection

What is that you have for humidification, is that a pond fogger in the tub of water?  I can't tell.  Seems like it might like a bit more humidity evident, but I can't see the substrate well enough to really tell.

It's a Vicks Ultrasonic. The substrate's been sitting no-lid for like a week w/o any peeling away from the walls of the tub ~ so that's a good sign.

Just not sure if it's enough to trigger pinning...??

Hard to tell from the pic, if there's not some little droplets of moisture on the surface you can always mist every now and then.
