Grow Room temp and yields

Hi good ppl,
I've found info about fruiting temps and yields for shrooms in this forums, but could nt find anything about fruit temps and yields for edibles, so i apologize if this has been asked before.
I always understood that there are some strains that require specific temperatures to pin, but i thought that as long as the block pinned, temps would not affect yield. But where i live we have been experiencing a very hot climate for the past month, and i am suspecting that i am getting worst yields on my blue oysters cause of that. Anyone has had similar experience?

I would say that is a true statement. I try to match my grow to the conditions I have. Much more difficult trying to fight mother nature.

With blue oysters, you will definitely get a worse yield in too high of temps and the fruits will be thin without much meat on them. Some strains will do better than others for instance Amycel 3015 will adapt and you will still get good fruits I have grown them in temps close to 90F.

It's the density of the fruits that I notice the biggest difference. Blues grown hot will actually make larger fruits, but the flesh is... I don't know a better word than less dense. Airy? And they don't have much shelf life.

Yes, there is a very big difference in the fruits, no question. The cooler the room, the denser, meatier, firmer (and also bluer) and genarally more beatiful are the fruits.

Temp seems to make a difference too, the larger warm grown blues are always grey at best and even pale at that. Although it probably has something to do with the size as well... seems more blue the smaller they are.
