Ordered the absinthe kit, received timely communication, very quick shipping, quality product. The Absinthe was just sooo easy to make (for novelty of course). Finished product looks great, should be a fun time. Thanks again guys, quality all the way.

Thanks for the kind words boxtop! We of course, only sell this product for novelty purposes.
We have a new product in, it's instant absinthe. Just add alcohol. It's made from the essences of 22 herbs, with a separate wormwood flavoring pack. This is great for people who can't distill the herbal kit (for taste), or just want it done instantly.
Thanks!

I like where your site is heading.
I wonder if other extracts are available.
I'd love a collection of novelty extracts.
Don't several European brands sell extracts?

Thanks Cervantes. The only extract I've seen available in America is the "Prestige" brand (by Gert Strand). I was trying to sell their brand, but their North American importer stopped importing because customs stopped a few huge shipments, and they lost a lot of money. I'll be carrying a new type. The flavorings are made by alcohol extraction, and are of a higher quality than the Prestige brand which uses only oils.

ok absinthe wine kit came today, and i bought the reccomended port wine. the kit was two 1 ounce bags, one wormwood, one flavoring. the instructions on the site says to leave the wormwood in for 4-6 days, strain out the mush, then do the same with the flavoring for about 3 days. do you think it would be a big deal to disreguard the flavoring? i hate all this waiting (too bad their essence has been out of stock, that would have been better.) the flavoring doesnt really do anything important right?

Does it matter what type of alcohol is used in the instant absinthe kit?

to answer my own question, in case anyone else gets the wine kit, the dude told me you can combine the flavoring early on too, which will save time. thats good news
and since the instructions call for 1L of wine, and most wine is sold as either 750ml or 1.5L, having a 1.5 gives you the needed room, after some of the wine is emptied out.
