Habitat: Found in the Greater Seattle area. General environment = wood chips, mixed with soil and some vegetation, and moss covered ground. Patch was found in wood chips beneath tall grass/bushes, and the mycelium was adhering to a decaying log that the mushrooms seemed to favor. Several other mushroom species found nearby, however these specimens (photos) were all taken from the same small patch, which was very tightly clustered and entirely separate from any other species by a good distance. Mushrooms were carefully snipped with garden clippers, without any damage to the mycelium. Many small mushrooms (pinners) were left alone to re-propagate the patch.
Gills: Light brown/tan, attached. Purple patches where damaged or bruised (spore coloration).
Stem: 1-2 inches, white, bruised dark blue/black (stems were aggressively pinched to purposefully bruise). Fibrous, with moderate rigidity... not bendy/wilting.
Cap: 3/4 inch-1.5 inch, caramel colored, "wet/shiny" gloss, some lighter brown/tan splotches on certain specimens (pictured), very slight nipple on some specimens. Smaller specimens were slightly convex, but larger ones became characteristically wavy at the edges. Edges bruised blue when pinched (pictured)
Spore print color: No formal spore print taken before drying (whoops), but gills showing purple smears roughly 20 minutes after picking (pictured in brown bag photo).
Bruising: Blue, dark blue, almost black (heavily damaged/pinched portions). Purple smears on gills.
Other information: Mushrooms were picked on 10/14/2020, and are currently being dried with desiccant. Pinners that were left in the patch to continue developing showed classic caramel color and telltale "bottlecap" shape.
Picker is experienced (has cultivated P Cubensis at home from spore prints, and has hunted/found P. Cyanescens quite a few times in the past, as well as P. Azurescens), however has not gone picking or been involved with mushrooms in over a decade... feeling fairly confident in the find, but maybe a little rusty. ID request is to confirm what is believed to be P. Cyanescens. Pictures: One picture is of the brown bag of mushrooms, 20 minutes after picking. The other 4 pictures are all of the same specimens... it's not four different sheets of mushrooms, just the same sheet with different lighting/angles.
Thanks fellow Shroomers!

Thanks for the confirmations friends! I'm thrilled to revisit this community again after a long hiatus, and excited to revisit the magic.
