Habitat: Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc.
Growing in the organic mulch I used for my tomato planter.
Gills: Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc. Brown? Attached.
Stem: Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc. Mushrooms are young so I’m not sure about length but they are currently no longer than 2”. Solid and brownish/white.
Cap: Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.
Golden brown top, darkest at the center. Convex.
Spore print color: Very important!
It’s complicated! I’m a newbie so at first when I put water on the cap it drained off in a brown color but then after letting it sit, gills down, with 2 drops of water on top and covered with lid, it’s a dark purplish color.
Bruising: Color that the mushroom bruises, if any. No bruising I can see and it’s been 6 hrs since I picked it and beat it up.
Other information: Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.

Pictures please and score the top of the cap with a knife and then wait like 30 minutes
Also the spore print is very distinctive and perhaps the 2nd best way to identify a mushroom, first being microscope. Place one of the caps face down on a piece of white a4 paper. Cover it to block out all light. Wait at least 24 hours
Zoom in/clear pictures on the spore print if already taken
I would hazard a guess it is a non-psychoactive based on the habitat it is in. Unless that soil is mulched with some softwood it isn't likely to harbor anything psilcoyve

If the photo in your gallery is the one you’re referring to. Than it’s possibly a Hypholoma Sp. Not active in any case.

Oh cool thanks! Yeah I thought I had the pictures uploaded but apparently not. Got them now. There are more growing in the same spot, I'll wait till they get more mature and take more pictures and post. Thanks for the welcome!
