Can creators of user forums edit the posts of others in their forum?
    #26986313 - 10/15/20 01:05 AM (3 years, 3 months ago)

I noticed something weird with a bunch of posts in shivers forum the last forum on the left with shivers apparently editing a bunch of posts of other people, sometimes dating back years. Maybe that's just something he can do in his own forum?

I dunno, it seemed weird, and I know some hacks in the past have been noticed first with people editing posts, so I thought I should say something just in case. Sorry if this is just normal functionality, I just didn't know you could do that if so. I'm probably still a little paranoid from the last few hacks.

Anyway, here's a link to the forum in question:

That's not actually his forum, it was made by a permabanned user, but he is a UC moderator there.

Users can edit posts in User-Created forums if they are the creator of the forum or the creator has made them a moderator.

They are non shroomery endorsed forums moderated by regular users, with oversight by the site staff.

That is Shivers' lair. Hella freedom. One dare not enter if they plan to be senator someday.
