To Fruit or Not to Fruit

Hello All, First time poster here. Glad to have found my way to this forum. I did a basic search but did not find what I'm looking for.
Background and Setup: 66qt monotub with horse manure based substrate colonized from Milo seed. Species is PC B+. It's been 11 days since colonization began. Temperature for colonization is about 72-74 degrees F. Tub is covered with aluminum foil with 4 small Gas Exchange holes in each corner. FAE and Gas Exchange holes on the sides of the tub are sealed. It has not been opened since colonization began. Substrate has been fully covered since day 9.
Question: I planned on waiting another week to consolidate the substrate but I'm getting a little worried. There is plenty of moisture build up and many small drops on the surface. However, in a few places large drops have fallen off the aluminum foil and left yellow wet spots on the surface. I thought it was just metabolite but I can tell it's where the drops have impacted the mycelium. Should I go to fruiting conditions to avoid damaging the mycelium or over soaking it or can I safely wait a week?

Thanks for the reply Fried Egg. I planned on waiting the week because I've seen some knowledgeable growers suggest the allowing the mycelium to consolidate for a week past basic full coverage provides for better fruiting. It does make sense to me that allowing the mycelium to become more dense and uptake more nutrients and hydration prior to fruiting would be beneficial, However, I know nothing and am open to being corrected by the evidence!

I fruit at spawning and so do the other bulk cultivators I know.
Try that and I bet you'll convert.

Do you mean that you put your tote into fruiting conditions immediately after adding bulk substrate and colonized grain?

it'll fruit when it's ready. i've tried fruiting at spawn and can confirm it works fine. it's the same result as fruiting at full colonization, just a little quicker.

If you have a thin substrate or one with a low water content then it would make sense to slow evaporation to a minimum during colonization of bulk sub. Either way works, they both have pros and cons. If you suspect your sub could be slightly bacterial or whatever then increased FAE rates are a plus
