Lol, was just counting the change in my drawer like usual one night when the idea came to me - there are quite a LOT of different designs on the (U.S.A.) quarters these days. for instance, take a look at this one:

it could symbolize Hawaii (i mean, obviously), volcanos (obviously again), fire, violence, anger, suppressed emotions, creation, or more, depending on context and what your intuition is telling you, right?
...i'll admit i'm not terribly familiar with how to actually do the act of tarot reading.
there's quite a few repeats on the quarters - for instance, several of them have various birds on them, but they're different types, facing different directions or doing different things. if i understand things right, that shouldn't make things worse, but better, shouldn't it? just like how having more words in a language allows for more nuanced meanings.
so you could have this:

and this (it's a design candidate that didn't make it, but still an example):

and while both can represent birds, flight, and sustenance, one can also represent motherhood, (hen and chicks), the others possibly companionship (or maybe they're hiding from predators?)
there's all sorts of cute coins too, like this lil collectable gem:

...oh, i'm sorry. that was probably a bit traumatizing wasnt it. (it was just a really bad coincidence, these things are planned well ahead of time lol. it's a cute coin though!) that said, they are an extremely rare coin to find, at least in the upper penninsula. are they rare in your area as well? the US mint claims theyve been producing record amounts of new coins, yet for some reason... there's no new 2020 quarters here. we got stacks of new 2019 quarters up to February then the coin shortage hit and i see maybe one of these cute bat coins every few days at most.
anyways, i also wonder if a tarot...money pouch? should also include other coins - for instance, there's pennies that have a shield on the tail side, dimes have the torch on the tails, and what about foreign currency? there's lots of interesting symbolism in things like euro coins, and things like Canadian pennies and even the occasional Canadian nickel aren't too hard to find in the US. would mixing currencies mess up the not-a-deck, or be perfectly acceptable?
and how would one go about setting it up with the shuffling and organizing? i just think that something like this would have a lot of potential, especially since it's something you could build yourself over time, making it more personal than just buying at a store. i feel like that would make it more special and empower it more, somehow.
erm...these are just my personal thoughts though. i really don't know much about divination. ._. it was just my crazy idea when looking at some quarters.
