My first instinct would be to talk to them probably. If I were in a dream, I'd have sex with them if they were attractive, with their consent. If they were an alien, I'd ask them about their planet.
How long am I going to be in the room with this person? If not for a long time, I guess I'd make small talk until someone can let us out. If we are there for eternity, things get more complex. Ever read Sartre's "No Exit"? If we got off on the wrong foot, things could be bad... or even if we just aren't compatible personality wise.
If this person is a child, I would tell them stories. If it was someone older than me, I might ask them to tell my their stories.
If we're in a jail cell type setting and this person did something to someone I love I might injure this person. If this person turned out to be a spiritual master, there'd be nothing much to do but tap into the very high vibrations.

As long as it takes. Let's say 16 hours if you need a concrete figure!

I'd probably check my phone to see what time it is, and to see if I have received any emails / messages.
Then I would do the same with my work phone.

Not if the room is very small.

Haha this true! If the room is small you could not go in many directions. Unless, you pull your legs to your chest and spin in a circle on your back. Then that would be many directions, one could say. :-)

Thank you OP for the best Friday night I have had all summer, sincerely and with much appreciation.
If the room is a bathroom, I would ask the other person to get cozy in the tub while I seated myself on the toilet. I would then begin a reading of Ol Possum's Book of Practical Cats. My heart would swell with joy as their inner child began to manifest in their smile.
Maybe it isn't a bathroom, maybe it is a cozy room with comfy pillows on the floor for us to relax upon. Relax we shall, as I read to them The Little Prince. Afterwards we can pull the fluff from the pillows to make our perfect sheep.
But then, perhaps there is nothing special about the room except for the door that will not open. Perhaps there is a language barrier between the person and I. That could prove to be difficult. But I am sure with a positive attitude we could get that damn door open.

it messes up the air assuming there is air in the room, cause if there isn't I want what that person is exhaling.

Bao In Disney•Pixar’s Bao, a Chinese mom who’s sad when her grown son leaves home gets another chance at motherhood when one of her dumplings springs to life as a lively, giggly dumpling boy. Mom excitedly welcomes this new bundle of joy into her life, but Dumpling starts growing up fast, and Mom must face the bittersweet truth that ...
By 'Eat them' I mean in a sustainable way such as the relationship you might have with a pet, you're eating each other. Your mom cooks and washes and she is eating your dad's paycheck and he is eating her services.
