Enoki mycelium Q
    #26982049 - 10/12/20 06:01 PM (3 years, 3 months ago)

I have read a few descriptions about Enoki mycelium being very robust and at time wispy. There was a recent post with some pics and I think mine look OK? Both are from an LC labeled as a wild Enoki strain. One appears to be absorbing color from the violet gel food coloring. That plate also has Gentamicin added.

Assuming that these look ok, what should I focus on for transfer, the dense "dotted" areas (the ones with dark color) or the leading edge of the wispy growth?

Those look about right but I would definitely take a transfer from the leading edge, I don't know what all those dots are but you don't want them.  Leading edge of wispy area for sure.
