They do look like Pan Subbs. They might they also be Panaeolus cyanescens, which are also active. (for all i know they might be the same thing with differant names, lol) Definatly do a sporeprint and post the results! Either way it looks like you found what you were looking for, very cool!

Definate candidates for pan subs. If the spore print is "jet black" I think you're a winner. I can't see the blue bruising in the pics, have any close ups?

I'm not able to get a close up picture of the bruising... It's more of a dark purple bruise/almost red though. Also, I started making a spore print earlier and I checked it a few minutes ago and it looked "jet black" as you said... Here's a shitty picture of a bruised stem:

Unfortunately I don't think you've found Copelandia cyanescens... Cope cyans bruise blue very heavily. Yours have no apparent bluing. If you're not familiar with the bluing reaction, your eyes might be playing tricks on you. I still don't understand why people say mushrooms bruise purple, I've never seen a mushroom bruise purple in my life. If anything, the bluing reaction will look blueish green.
Here is a picture from mjshroomer's website of Copelandia cyanescens: http://www.mushroomjohn.com/species/bestcopepicture1.jpg
Notice how intense the bluing is on those mushrooms. All Copelandia will bruise like that because potent mushrooms.
If your mushrooms won't bruise like that, but you still insist that you see blue on them, perhaps you have an active species of Panaeolus. Either way, your find is not poisonous. The worst that would happen if you ate them is stomach cramps and diarrhea... Even the active Panaeolus mushrooms do this to to some people.
There still might be a chance that they are Copelandia cyanescens, I'd wait to get an opinion from mjshroomer or ggreatone23; they've both picked thousands of copes and know them when they see them.

The dark ring at the bottom of the cap is telling me P. subb. or P. foen. Check if the stem is hollow white fibrils (thread-like things); check to see if the gills grey, NOT BROWN look very closely; check to see if there are white fringes on the gills, and check to see if there is a black spore print. If you answered all yes, you have an active Panaeolus. Oh, and if these are indeed P. subb. then it's amazing that they were foudn in cow shit, they usually aren't.

Subbs have nbo ring on the stems near the caps and neither do Panaeolina foenisecii. Those are not subbs and I doubt they are Copelandias at all. Some kind of Panaeolina or panaeous which is not psychoactive.
