Plain liability maybe 250. a year, depends on the car the state your record ect. It'll be cheap though

I would seriously hope it's not 2500 a year. I'm payin less than that for full coverage on a 97 Camaro (it's $980 every six months).

Where are you at? I'm only 16, and have full coverage on a convertable Camaro. There's no way your insurance can be worse man, at least I don't see how.
Hope you can find a reasonable rate!

i'm in canada, alberta. and from what i hear, it's at least 180-200 a month.

Oh, You're talkin' canadian money? Man, I can't help but think of "Terrance & Philip'.
Your best bet is to get coverage with your parents insurance. Often you can get a discount with multiple vehicles. Since you are young you will get screwed with the rates regardless. They base insurance rates on Statistical Analysis, them thar figures don't lie, you youngens' need to learn how to drive more gooder. With age your rates should go down, considering you don't screw-up and get points put on your driving record! My insurance is really low, however I do have coverage with my parents, but then again I don't have any accidents and no moving violations, and besides, I will be 28 sometime this year, there goes that age factor again.
Don't forget, insurance will be higher for those cars that are involved with alot claims. Such as Claims for theft and collision.
Just be happy you don't live in California where everyone by law has to have Car Insurane. Rates are a Grip HERE!

isn't it law in every state/province for everyone to have car insurance? Well it is here, anyways thanx for the info, but it looks like i'm gonna get screwed, both my parent's have cars, so it won't make a diff if i go on their insurance.

your so funny taz, i bet your just a 16yr old kid pretending to be 40 or whatever,
So what if i live with my parents, they pay for my school and let me stay with them, i think most people would love to be in this situation. I'm soryy your parents were a bunch of ass holes and kick you out at 17, but i guess my parents would do the same if i smoked crack and told people i can grow liberty caps indoors.
