I folks - this is my first post, so please give me feedback if i am not using the site incorrectly.

I'd like an ID for these please: I found 300-400 within 90 Minutes in a field that has produced libs that are unmistakably some in previous years: tits, blue tinge, gills purple brown (plus great trips and no aches)

This year the field is littered with look alikes whilst these fit most requirements I think:

Pair on left: Most of the ones yesterday didn't have the darker coloration at the bottom of the heads, yet cone-shaped and sticky.

Pair in Middle: they had a yellow tinge both on head and stemm the gills are white yellow (least are about these)

Par in on right: they seem to have the darker gills.

This field somewhere in Sussex UK has 10x more shrooms than in previous years. The field usually doesn't produce look alikes, just the occasional shrooms that look completely different.

I read about "albino liberty caps" on this side, so what do you think? Could they be libs but without the spores yet or are they not libs? And if so, could they be toxic?

Many thanks for your advice!

These mushrooms are too dry and old to identify. All I can say is they are absolutely not liberty caps.

Your best bet for a proper identification is to bring a camera in the field and take pictures of the
mushrooms in their habitat ("in situ").

Welcome to the Shroomery. :toast:
