Contamination? Noobie looking to ID contamination and potential steps forward

Hi all,
just to get right to it.. is this contamination?
I'm new to this and started with 6 jars I bought off of amazon that were already filled with water, brown rice flour, etc.. I inoculated them on September 28 (3 w/ thai strain and 3 w/ z-strain), so that'd be 12 days ago. I started noticing some discoloration on a few jars and have been browsing on several forums and on google images, but I figured it'd be best to just create a thread just to have others more knowledgeable than me tell me what's up. Thanks in advance!

I'm seeing at least 2 contams and no mycelium - sorry, but they are not going to pull through.
Personally, I wouldn't trust pre-made BRF jars since you don't know how they have been stored/handled. There is supposed to be a dry layer of vermiculite at the top of those jars and if it was disturbed in shipping, they become mold farms.
I would suggest dumping those outside, thoroughly washing the jars and lids, then refill with your own BRF mix (2:1:1) with a dry top layer of vermiculite, sterilize the jars and then give it another inoculation attempt.
Since you are also getting contams at the inoculation point (vs. from the BRF mix), you need to double check your process for innoculating the jars to make sure you are not bringing in contaminations from a dirty syringe or the environment somehow.

Those are toast.
Always make your own jars and you'll be alot happier. And easier to pinpoint where something went wrong.
You should try SHIPs if you want an extra protection barrier against contams with BRF jars. I don't personally use them on grain but for BRF I think they are pretty nifty.
Here's what I use for BRF:

If you wind up needing to empty those jars and start over, here's a good place to start, no pressure cooker required:
